Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen, an American actor and singer-songwriter hailing born in St. Louis Missouri. Her most well-known work is her part as Jenny Humphrey on the CW show Gossip Girl and as the lead singer of rock band The Pretty Reckless. The music of Momsen has appeared in TV and films such as How to Be Single Going the Distance as well as Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen's younger sibling Sloane Momsen also works as an actor. She trained in dance at the Center of Creative Arts St. Louis. Her first role in the professional world was in a Shake 'n Bake commercial in the national market at age of three. Momsen's professional career was put on hold for three years before she was cast in the lead role in the film Misconceptions. Momsen did also appear at that time in the film Saving Shiloh (2006). Momsen also tried out for the title role in Hannah Montana and was in the top three, but the part was awarded the role to Miley Cyrus.
